A Mountain Home man has died after an accident sent him to the hospital. The accident happened on August 29 just before 5 p.m. at the Barnett Drive intersection in Batesville.
Authorities say a Yamaha motorcycle driven by Brian J. Studnargriesi, 22, of Mountain Home, was northbound on 167 in the center turn lane when it struck a Toyota van.
Studnargriesi was ejected from the motorcycle and was seriously injured. He was treated at the White River Medical Center in Batesville and then transferred to Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, where he died the next day.
Patrolman David Rowe said the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident.
