Carolyn Ann Reynolds, 66, of Newport departed this life on Thursday, August 31, 2023. She was born in Newport on October 22, 1956, to Lawrence and Inez (Stout) Reynolds.
Carolyn loved doing yardwork and keeping her yard looking nice. She especially loved adding her own personal touches to it. She enjoyed getting out in the country riding four wheelers and fishing from the river or a creek bank. She also liked searching for bargains at yard sales. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, they meant the world to her. She will live in their hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Nady Jones and Glenda Canard.
She is survived by her sons, Monty Shane Hembrey (Davena) of Newport and Jimmy Hembrey of Newport; her brother, Billy Reynolds of Newport; her grandchildren, Hunter Shane Hembrey, Shana Lynn Hembrey, Marco Morales, Gabriel Garcia, Destiney Marie Morales; her great grandchildren, Zory Rogers, Wyatt Hembrey and Luna Rose Garza.
Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
