Herman Clark, 64, of Newport passed from this life on Monday, September 11, 2023. He was born November 13, 1958, to Robert William and Willie Lee (Ford) Clark.
Herman retired from Arkansas Steel where he was a machine operator. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially cooking for them. He enjoyed watching sports. His favorite teams to watch were the Los Angeles Lakers and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He also enjoyed shopping for cars, listening to music, and playing basketball.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Clark, of the home; his sons Tyson Walker of St. Louis, Scotty Clark (Vanessa) of Tuckerman, Robert William Clark of Louisiana; his daughter, Aisha Young of Jacksonville; his brothers, Lee Vaughn Clark of Jonesboro and Chris Crite of Olive Branch, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Kiah McCree, Lucy Clark, Shawn Ellis, Kaden Young, Robert William Clark Jr., Scotty Clark II, Soloman Clark, London Clark and Kemone Holman; his great Grandchildren, Khaza McCree and Carter Allen; and a host of family and friends.
Graveside Service will be at noon on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at New Hope Cemetery with Brother Therman Walker officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 22, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
