Mrs. Glenna Kay Smart 79, of Tuckerman, passed away Monday, in Newport. She was born on April 6, 1944, to Wesley and Violet (Runsick) Provence. Mrs. Smart was a member of the Jacksonport Baptist Church. She loved reading, yard sales, flowers, watching All My Children, talking on the phone, and helping people, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She married the love of her life on December 29, 1966.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Smart is survived by her husband of 56 years; J.W. Smart of Tuckerman, her daughter; Becky Hamilton of Searcy, two brothers; Billy Provence of Louisiana, and Jack Provence of Newport, one sister; Sandra Provence of Tuckerman, two grandchildren; Sara Hamilton of Searcy, and Paul Hamilton of Searcy.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 on Friday, September 22, at the Dillinger Funeral home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21 at Dillinger Funeral Home.
