Sammy Lee Goza of Swifton, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born May 25, 1951, in Swifton, the son of Arkey Willis Goza and Jessie Mae (Wallin) Goza.
Mr. Goza was a graduate of Swifton High School. On July 14, 1979, Mr. Sammy Goza was married to Miss Nina Wells, and they enjoyed 44 years together.
During his lifetime, he worked for several Ford dealerships. Mr. Goza enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting antique cars and loved his animals. He was an avid sports fan and especially liked watching the Arkansas Razorbacks play.
Most of all, Mr. Goza loved his family and friends, and cherished spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carroll, Jerry, and Charles Goza; one sister, Lovan Arnold; a special nephew, Rickey Henderson; and his parents.
Mr. Goza is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nina Goza, of the home; one sister, Bernice Henderson of Swifton; many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday evening, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Swifton Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Swifton Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Zane Smith, Chris Smith, Mark Mannon, Robert Summers, Joe Howard, and Tim Goza. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Henderson, Ben Keton, Roy Wells, and Kyler Smith.
