Brenda Kay Duke, 65, of Concord, departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Batesville. She was born on March 11, 1958, to Amos Mack Acklin and Geneva Osborne Acklin in Batesville.
Brenda was a homemaker who enjoyed her grandchildren and her beloved pets. She also enjoyed yard sales.
She is survived by her son, Jason Acklin; daughter-in-law, Melissa Acklin; her brother, Dale Acklin; her sisters, Jane Hall and Shirley Honea; grandchildren, Micheal, Dustin, Dekota, and Mackie; great-grandchildren, Dean, Amelia, Gabriel, and Caroline; a special friend who was her soul mate, Donald Wayne Peel; nephews, nieces, and friends.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Leon and Ray Acklin, and sister, Joyce Acklin.
