Debra Kay (Martin) Fletcher, 64, of Concord, Arkansas, passed away on October 4th, 2023, in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born October 5th, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas to Ezra and Edna Martin.

Debbie lived a very full life of nearly 65 years. She spent her early childhood in Kansas, moving to Arkansas in her early teens. Debbie gave her life to the Lord at the age of 12. She married her high school sweetheart at the age of 17 and won her battle with breast cancer at the age of 25. Debbie worked as a nurse, and later as a homemaker and the proud teacher of Whippor-Hill Home School. Debbie never lost her love of learning, earning her bachelor’s degree in 2019. She treasured spending time with her children, and grandchildren and deeply loved her church family. Debbie will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Carl (married May 28, 1976); sons, David (Sarah N), John (Cloey), and Benjamin; daughters, Linda (Ron), Sarah (Christopher), Janafay, and Carrie; 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 2 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Edna Martin; and one infant son, Nathan.

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 8th, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm, at the Shady Lawn Mennonite Church. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 9th, 2023 at the Shady Lawn Mennonite Church, beginning at 11:00 am. Brother Carl Gingerich will officiate the service. The committal service will take place at the Lighthouse Cemetery. A meal will be served at Shady Lawn following the committal.

Pallbearers are Padraig Ingram, Christopher Hunnicutt, Andy Carpenter, Myron Stoltzfus, Chris Young, Jason Mast, Lyndall Mast, and Jarren Lehman.
