Madrith Taylor, 85, of Sulphur Rock passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023.
She was born on August 14, 1938, in Missouri to Leonard Garrison and Ella Liles Garrison.
Madrith was a strong-willed woman and she worked as a CNA at Woodlawn Heights Nursing Home for many years. She loved her family and her dogs and cats. Madrith especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and fussing with her sons. She enjoyed reading, watching westerns, and cooking and was known for her meatloaf and cinnamon rolls.
Survivors include her four sons, Marshall (Maria) Taylor of Batesville, Calvin Taylor of Sulphur Rock, Tommy Taylor of Sulphur Rock, and Keith (Cara) Taylor of Magness; one brother, Carl Dean (Mary Skaggs) Garrison of Batesville; fifteen grandchildren, Charles Boyett, Michael Taylor, Dewayne Taylor, Dustin Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Megan Goodman, Stasha Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Zach Taylor, Tyler Counts, Judson Taylor, Jaxson Taylor, and Jacob Taylor; seventeen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duncan Taylor; one son, Ricky Taylor; and one brother, Buddy Garrison.
Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm Monday, October 9, 2023, at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville with Keith Taylor officiating.
