Supporters of Ozarka College enjoyed the second annual Ozarka College Foundation Casino Night, Sept. 30, at Cooper’s Pointe in Cherokee Village.
Guests enjoyed an assortment of hors d´oeuvres catered by Kelly Harrison, as well as casino games including bingo, blackjack, craps, “let it ride,” three-card poker, and roulette. Guests’ winnings were exchanged for chances to enter the event’s raffle drawings.
A silent auction featuring unique art by local artists, limited edition whiskies, an outdoor planter, gift certificates, and more was also held in the fundraising event that supports students at the Ozarka Ash Flat campus.
“The college is extremely grateful for the outpouring of support from the Sharp County community,” said Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka College vice president of advancement. “The Casino Night’s success is a testament to Sharp County’s commitment to uplifting those in their community through education.”
