Buddy John Brock, Sr., 75, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away at his home on Sunday, October 8, 2023, in Mountain View, Arkansas. Buddy was born on November 22, 1947, in Parkin, Arkansas to the late Lether and Helen (McDaniel) Brock. Buddy was blessed with a green thumb and was an avid gardener, who also enjoyed carpentry and woodworking. Buddy enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, playing chess, card games and puzzles. One of the fondest memories is Buddy building his family authentic igloos. Buddy made growing up really fun and will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Buddy is survived by one son, Buddy Brock, Jr.; two daughters, Judy Brock and Carolyn Motes and husband, Marty; grandchildren, Cara, Natasha, Shawna, Lane, Brock and Ashton; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty, Bonnie and Beth and many extended family and friends.
Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Lether and Helen (McDaniel) Brock; his wife, Judy Diane McMurray Brock; four brothers, Bill, Bob, Bennie and Byron Brock and one grandchild, Krista.
Buddy will be interred on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 5:30 PM in Norick Chapel Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Sam Moore, Marty Motes, Buddy Brock, Jr., Brock Motes, Ashton Brock, Cara Campbell and Lane Campbell.
