Michael Derrell Collom, 69, of Batesville passed away on October 15, 2023.
He was born March 1, 1954, in Batesville to Billy Derrell Collom and Mildred Lawrence Collom.
Mike was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a hardworking and sensitive man who could fix anything. Mike enjoyed his Chopper and Harley Davidson Motorcycles, boating and lake fishing. He graduated from Southside High School in 1972. In 1976, he started his business, Quality Heat and Air. He worked with HVAC systems for 40 years selling Lennox and Rheem equipment. He also owned Mike Collom Properties.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married June 7, 2013, Debby Penter Collom of the home; one daughter, Mandy Collom Killingsworth (Scott) of Batesville; two grandchildren, Michael Grant Collom (Tricia) and Cynthia Killingsworth; one step-son, Myles McDougal (Lauren) of Little Rock; one step-daughter, Charity McDougal of Batesville; three step-grandchildren, Clarity Vincent, Dillon McDougal and Cherish McDougal; as well as several friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Cynthia Clouse Collom and a grandson, Graham Collom Killingsworth.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Mark Wilhite officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. just before the service.
