The Southside Southerners will make the short trip north and face off against the Batesville Pioneers tonight as the second annual Citizens Bank “Battle of the Bridge” heads to Pioneer Stadium.
Citizens Bank’s community engagement officer Ashley Engles (pictured) visited with Arkansas 103’3 KWOZ’s Wes Gwaltney on today’s “Morning Scramble” show about the big football showdown, as well as the bank’s plans for t-shirt giveaways and the “Scare Away Hunger” food drive being held in conjunction with the game.

As part of the “Battle of the Bridge,” Citizens Bank will donate to the Booster Clubs of Batesville High School Charter and Southside Charter High School each time their respective team makes a touchdown. And, as an added bonus, the winning team will also receive an extra $250.
