Mrs. Sandra (Gasaway) Higgs, 62, of Morrilton, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday ~ October 26, 2023, in St. Vincent Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas. Sandra was born July 29, 1961, in Harrisburg, Arkansas the daughter of Bob and Betty (James) Gasaway. Her parents have preceded her in death. She worked as a Scale Operator in Evergreen Packing graduated from Osceola High School, enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, reading, loved being on the lake, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends. Sandra is survived by her husband, Larry Higgs of Morrilton, Arkansas, one son, Michael Jett of Heber Springs, Arkansas, two daughters: Bobbie Sosebee of Central City, Arkansas and Jessica Herod of Morrilton, Arkansas, one brother, Tony Gasaway of Alma, Arkansas, one sister, Trish Ann Spencer also of Morrilton, Arkansas, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 31 from 10:00 until service time at Jackson’s Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Chapel Service will begin at 11:00. Active pallbearers are Ethan Higgs, Brandon Sims, Josh Burch, John Brannon, Wade Dopps, and Mark Higgs. The interment will be in Bolivar Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
