
Carol Ann (Mitsy) Hogan, 73, of Batesville passed away Monday, November 6, 2023.
She was born November 27, 1949, in North Little Rock to William Peyton Tarver and Ruby Lee (Long) Tarver.
Carol was a very positive person who loved very hard. She was detail-oriented and had the “if you want it done right, do it yourself” attitude. She was a member of Central Avenue United Methodist Church, sang in the Chancel Choir, and rang handbells with the Joybells Choir, and was an active member of the United Methodist Women’s group. Carol worked as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration for 26 years and enjoyed camping and riding horses.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married on December 21, 1969, Robert “Bob” Hogan of the home; one son, Eric Hogan (Samantha) of Batesville; one sister, Judith Doty of Little Rock; one grandchild, Alexander Hogan; two nephews, Rusty Tarver, Allen Tarver, and one niece, Bonnie Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Don and David Tarver.
Pallbearers are Rusty Tarver, Aaron Hogan, Adam Hogan, Allen Tarver, Ronald Hogan, and Jerry Buie.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Seay and Rev. Jesse James officiating. Burial will follow at Holcombe Cemetery in Sulphur Rock.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
