The Batesville City Council will face a busy agenda when it meets Tuesday.

Main Street Batesville will come to the council with an update on its program and a budget request.

Representatives of the Independence County Senior Citizens Program will bring an update on the fundraising project to furnish the new Senior Citizens Center.

Scenic Hill Solar will give council members a presentation on their recent solar audit for the city.

Council members will also consider an ordinance to waive competitive bidding for a new Batesville Fire Department rescue truck.

And, an ordinance banning unauthorized camping within the city limits of Batesville will also be considered. The ordinance would make it unlawful to camp on any non-residential, residential, or public property in the city without proper authorization.

The Batesville City Council meets at the Municipal Building at 500 East Main in downtown Batesville. Their meeting is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
