Silver Alert issued for missing Salem man

UPDATE: The Arkansas State Police has inactivated the Silver Alert for Heckmann after he was found safe. 

A Silver Alert has been issued for a Fulton County man missing since Sunday.

According to Arkansas State Police, Frederick Louis Heckmann (pictured), 93, of Salem, was last known to be at 915 Highway 62 East in Salem.

He was last seen wearing a blue dress shirt and jeans. He is described as weighing 145 pounds and standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with partially balding gray hair and blue eyes. He may be traveling in a 2017 red Dodge Charger with the California license plate number 8AHX452.

Any information on Heckmann’s whereabouts should be forwarded to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at (870) 895-2601.
