On Tuesday, the Arkansas Division of Aeronautics (ADA) presented the Batesville Regional Airport with state grant money for the airport’s new hangar project that was completed earlier this year.

The ADA approved the six-bay T-hangar and hangar access grants in 2022. The ADA provided 90% of the funding for the hangar access, while the airport provided 10%. For the T-hangar grant, the ADA provided 80% of the share, while the airport provided 20%.

The total cost of the project was $591,980, with the ADA providing $489,382 in grant funds at this morning’s presentation.
