Donnie McArthur, 73, of Harrisburg departed this life on Sunday ~ November 12, 2023, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born August 23, 1950, in Harrisburg, Arkansas the son of Ross and Elizabeth (Goad) McArthur. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dewayne McArthur. He was a 1968 Harrisburg High School graduate. Donnie married Cindy Adams on August 21, 1970, and they have enjoyed 53 years of marriage. He worked for Entergy as Lineman Supervisor for 43 years. He is survived by his wife, Cindy McArthur of the home in Harrisburg, one daughter, Jerri Sue McArthur also of Harrisburg, and two sisters: Dana Marshall of Harrisburg and Debra McDonald of St Louis, Mo. Graveside Service was held Monday, November 14, 2023, at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Guy McMahan conducted the service.
