Jimmy Ray Rainbolt, 84, of Batesville, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Jimmy was born on August 10, 1939, in Alco, AR, to the late Daniel Rainbolt and Ludie (Passmore) Rainbolt. He was of Baptist faith. Jimmy was a truck driver by trade but also loved anything related to driving and cars. He used to buy and sell cars and loved attending car auctions. He enjoyed fishing, watching old westerns, and listening to outlaw country music, such as Waylon Jennings and Meryl Haggard. Jimmy looked the part too; he was usually seen wearing a cowboy hat and a pair of boots. Jimmy will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents; his granddaughter, Carley Green; and two nephews, Randy Rainbolt and Joey Rainbolt. He is survived by his son, Jimmy Ogborn (Fabiola); his 7 daughters, DeEtta Rainbolt, Sandy Williams (Allen), Melody Rainbolt, Kaylee Winkle (Wayne), Kay Rainbolt, Bobbie Rainbolt, and Cindy Rainbolt; his two brothers, Joe Rainbolt (Norma), and Dan Jr. Rainbolt (Mary); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several extended family members and friends.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. There will be a Graveside Service, officiated by Cody Moore, on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 1 p.m., at Pleasant Plains Cemetery, in Pleasant Plains, AR.
