Charles Dennis Fletcher of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the age of 73. He was born October 11, 1950, in Gary, Indiana, the son of Kenneth Fletcher and Lou Jean (Phillips) Fletcher Manojlovich.
Mr. Fletcher had worked for Cooper Farms since 1986 and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He had a love for the outdoors, spending his spare time hunting and fishing. Mr. Fletcher grew a large vegetable garden and enjoyed building and selling birdhouses at the local Farmer’s Market.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Gregg Louis Fletcher; his father, Kenneth Fletcher; and his mother and stepfather, Lou Jean and Milan Manojlovich.
Mr. Fletcher is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy (Palmer) Fletcher of the home; one step-brother, Chris Manojlovich and wife, Rhonda of Crown Point, Indiana; one step-sister, MeLana Hannon of Virginia; one sister-in-law, Cindy Fletcher of Concord; several nieces and nephews; his cats and dog; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, on Saturday, November 25, 2023, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Walker Cemetery with Bro. David Burgess officiating.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Gary Milton, Bear Craft, Brad Craft, Terry Wayne Phillips, Rayvon Daniels, and Sammy Bennett. Honorary pallbearers are William Brooks and Arthur Booth.
