Clinton Scott Thomas, 56, of Texarkana passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
He was born November 29, 1967, in Little Rock to Clinton E. Thomas and Mayfan Bowman Thomas.
Scott attended Sylvan Hills High School for 11 years and graduated from Cord Charlotte High School in 1986; he then went on to graduate from Arkansas Tech University. He was an ordained minister, and a 32nd degree Mason and York Rite Freewill Mason. He was a published author as well as a writer and editor for Four States News, and owner of My QIDP and consultant for mental health. He loved his family and his pets and loved taking extra special care of them. He enjoyed reading, taking pictures, fishing, and was a black belt in Karate.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Rose Thomas of the home; his parents; three sons, Jonathan Thomas, Blake Thomas, and Christopher Thomas; two daughters, Courtney and Savanna Thomas; one sister, Shannon Thomas Arndt (Robert) of Florida; niece, Rowan Arndt; nephew, Hunter Arndt, and his cousins, aunts, many friends, and lodge brothers.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leon and Nival Thomas, and his maternal grandparents, TR and Viola Bowman.
Pallbearers are members of Gainsboro Masonic Lodge #258.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 2:00 pm the Center Grove Cemetery in Charlotte with Rev. Elizabeth Brinegar officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.
