The Sharp County Sheriff’s Department says it’s investigating a shooting incident after a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds in an Ozark Acres residence early today.
According to the Spring River Chronicle, sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at a home on Eagle Trail early Wednesday morning and discovered the injured individual. His wounds were described as non-life threatening, and he was transported to a local medical facility.
The Chronicle said one person is in custody in connection with the incident, but their identity and possible charges against them haven’t been disclosed. Authorities have also not released the name of the victim.
