Delois Fay Hagler, 93, of Sulphur Rock passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, in Batesville. She was born September 9, 1930, in Batesville to Carson Cot Henderson and Veda Marie Weaver. She was a cook at Kelley-Wyatt’s Restaurant for over 50 years and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden, canning, cooking, and baking and loved Christmas. She also enjoyed putting up Christmas lights for everyone to see and also loved her dog, Lady.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband for 53 years, Cecil Hagler; a son, Douglas Hagler; a daughter, Freda Heyde; three brothers, Pete Henderson, Denver Henderson and Charles Henderson; a grandson, Christopher Chinn and one great-grandchild, Marshall Marcell.
Survivors include her son, Gregory Hagler (Lena) of Batesville; two daughters, Rita Johnson (Bill) of Batesville and Sharon Chinn of Newark; her son-in-law, Ted Heyde; thirteen grandchildren, Rhonda Wood, Hershel Cunningham, Tony Cunningham, David Canady, James Hill, Haley Gann, Erica Gann, Kayla Marcel, Travis Johnson, Heather Luther, Stephanie Johnson, Ashley Patton and Sky Lightsy; eighteen great-grandchildren, Michelle Lightsy, Madelyn Cunningham, Jadelyn Cunningham, Chloe Cunningham, Charlie Cunningham, Tripp Cunningham, Journey Cunningham, Faith Cunningham, Sidney Hill, Starla Hill, Will Hill, Koda Hill, Madison Kirby (Devon), Hunter Chinn-Wood, Noah Gann, Thayer Gann, Aria Marcel and Ethan Marcel; eight great-great-grandchildren, Spencer Smith, Blakely Smith, Riley Jane Burba, Andrew Wood, Aaron Hutchison, Lilith Payton, Braxton Payton and Axel Kirby. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive her.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with T.J. Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Sulphur Rock Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Steve Lightsy, Lee Mahan, Hershel Cunningham, Bill Johnson, Greg Wood and James Hill.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Will Hill.
