Chaney Michael Emmerich, 66, of Evening Shade, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born April 9, 1957, in Batesville, Arkansas to Bud and Sarah Emmerich. He was a forklift operator and a volunteer firefighter of the Voluntary Fire Department of Evening Shade, Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles and firearms. He loved his family and being on the Fire Department.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, James Emmerich and John Emmerich.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah Emmerich of the home; his daughters, Amanda Holt of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas and Lisa Emmerich of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; his brother, Henry Clay Emmerich (Francine) of Jefferson City, Missouri; his sister, Hermena Roddy (Ben) of Eugene, Missouri; four grandchildren, Zachary Holt, Tyson Holt, Kaylee Bracewell, Aiden Meaders; one great-grandchild, Cooper Holt; and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City.
