Paul Russell Bryant of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born January 11, 1956, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the son of Remy Bryant and Delberta Jean (Aud) Bady.
Mr. Bryant worked as a truck driver for Nicholson Farms until his retirement. He was of the Episcopal faith.
Mr. Bryant enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, and tinkering in his garage. He was always helping others with anything they needed. His greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Mr. Bryant is preceded in death by one son, Daniel Joseph Bryant; his parents; and his first wife, Holly (Hay) Bryant.
He is survived by his wife, Penny Jean (Miller) Bryant, of the home; one son, Jeremy Christopher Bryant and Madison Henry, of the home; a daughter, Angela Joy Wright, of Sidney, Montana; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Bryant and wife, Jalisa, of Newport; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Graveside memorial services will follow at Sandhill Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Glenn and Mr. Bryant’s grandchildren.
