Rickie Ann Aust, 63, of Newport passed from this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.  She was born July 23, 1960, to Melvin Jack and Minnie Michelle (Morgan) Clark.

A devoted and loving presence, she embraced the roles of mother, grandmother, and sister. Her heart found joy in the simple beauty of gardening, a passion she shared with those she held dear. The warmth of family was her truest source of happiness, and she cherished moments spent with her loved ones. In the garden of memories, her legacy of love and family bonds continues to bloom, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply cherished.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Glenda Moore and Marie Wilson; her brothers, Melvin Clark Jr., Donald Clark, Bobby Clark, Robert Herschel Clark, Gary Clark, and Doyle Clark.

She is survived by her sons, Quinten Aust of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and Nathanael Aust of Aurora, Missouri; her daughter, Angela Scudder(Craig) of Tuckerman; her brothers, Tommy Clark (Betty) of Bald Knob, David Clark (Becky) of Newport, Dale Clark (Betty) of Bald Knob, Billy Clark (Pat) of Hartford, Michigan, Dennis Clark (Becky) of Tuckerman, and James Clark of Kensett; her sister, Loretta Wallace of Beebe; and her grandchildren, Chandra Doyle, Jasmine Clark, Liam Scudder, Delilah Aust, Bailey Aust, Leo Aust, Zachary Werb, Zane Werb, Shane Aust and Kaylen Newton; great-grandchildren, Max, Apollo and A’amya and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Sandhill Cemetery with Jim Cooper officiating.
