Sharron Kaye Ferguson, 72 of Lake City, Arkansas departed this life on January 16, 2024, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Sharron was born September 30, 1951, in Lepanto, Arkansas, the daughter of Willie and Geneva (Milam) Nelson. She was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed fishing, being outside, reading, and looking at the stars. and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donny Max Ferguson, (died 2002), and one Grandson, Aaron Michael Ferguson. She is survived by one daughter, Amy (Jeremy) Ferguson Boak of Marmaduke, Arkansas, one brother, Steve Nelson of Texas, and two sisters: Janice Pinkston of Lepanto, Arkansas and Donna Forbus of Brighten, Tennessee. Cremation has been chosen as the final disposition by the family. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later time.
