Fulton County authorities report a man wanted for failing to appear in court on two felony sex-related charges is now in custody.
According to a Facebook post from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department Thursday evening, an arrest warrant had been issued for Brian L. Crawford, 38, of Salem, after he failed to appear on charges of rape and second-degree sexual assault.
Two hours later, the department posted Crawford was in custody. The department credited sheriff’s deputies along with the Salem Police Department in the apprehension.
Crawford, who also has a Viola, Ark. address listed in his Fulton County court documents, is tentatively scheduled to be in court on Monday, Jan. 22, according to a West Plains, Mo., news outlet.
