Leboyd Duncan of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the age of 92. He was born January 1, 1932, the son of Chester and Opal Duncan.

Mr. Duncan spent most of his career as a farmer in Swifton and rarely traveled outside of the state. In 1986 after retiring from farming he took a job with MDR as a cross country truck driver. This job allowed him to travel to nearly every state in the U.S. On many of these trips, he was accompanied by his wife, Pat Duncan, and his granddaughter, Nikki King. He loved telling stories about the things he saw on these trips.

Mr. Duncan was a member of Murphy’s Chapel Assembly of God until the time of their merger with Swifton First. It was then that his membership was transferred. He served various roles at each of these churches. He lived his life as an example of commitment and loyalty, following closely to the pattern of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved his Lord, family, and church.

Mr. Duncan is preceded in death by his wife, Pat Duncan; one son, Bill Duncan; his parents, Chester and Opal Duncan; one brother, Lehman Duncan; and one sister, Helen Roberts.

He is survived by three sons, Deral Duncan of Swifton; Chester Duncan of Darden, Tennessee; Mark Duncan of Sun City West, Arizona; one sister, Neda Hickman of Mt. Vernon, Arkansas; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
