Lorine Christine Boozer, 93, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Batesville. She was born on December 25, 1930, in Sterlington, Louisiana to Alfred and Easter (Brown) Saylor. She was a factory worker and attended the Believer’s Community Church in Batesville. Lorine’s four areas in life were God, her children/grandchildren, gardening and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Boozer; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; three brothers; six sisters; and one daughter-in-law, Betty Boozer.
She is survived by her four sons, Bill Boozer Jr. (Emma) of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Steve Boozer (Vicki) of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Danny Boozer (Joan) of Hughes, Arkansas and Tony Brooks of Valdosta, Georgia; five daughters, Shirley Chapman (James) of Batesville, Arkansas, Edith Parvin (Westley) of Pangburn, Arkansas, Mary Crews (Tim) of Batesville, Arkansas, Debra Lane (Jim) of Theodosia, Missouri and Jessie Dillinger (Clayton) of Batesville, Arkansas; two brothers, Eugene Saylor of Marianna, Arkansas and Sam Saylor of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Ruby Skipper of Marked Tree, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Believer’s Community Church in Batesville with David Insell and Joe Insell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
