Sandy Wayne Canard, 65, of Prim, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born December 15, 1958, in Batesville, Arkansas to Samuel David Canard and Elizabeth Ann Minyard. He was a logger and a member of the Woodrow Baptist Church. He enjoyed mechanics, woodworking, fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Samuel and Jimmy D. Canard.
Survivors include his son, Joey Canard (Elizabeth) of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas; his daughter, Amanda Canard of Cave City, Arkansas; his ex-wife, Joyce Bunton; eight grandchildren, Izabella, Nathaniel, Danten, Keagan, Rykker, Geneva, Alma and Bleven; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Knapp Cemetery located in Prim, Arkansas with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers will be Colton Vanatter, Scott Phillips, Jason Yates, Kenneth Wisdom, Danten Canard and Nathaniel Bunch.
