Judy Lynn Johnston, 65, of Batesville passed away February 21, 2024.
She was born June 17, 1958, in Helena, Arkansas to Edward and Elizabeth Ann (Gonia) Little.
Judy was a 1977 graduate of Helena-West Helena School District and received her degree in nursing from Phillips Community College. She was an RN for over 30 years, working at White River Medical Center and Woodlawn Nursing Home. She was a compassionate, selfless, and perseverant woman who loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Judy was a homebody who enjoyed gardening, playing Rummy, and cooking. She made some wonderful fried chicken and mashed potatoes.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Johnston of Helena; two daughters, Jamie Nguyen (Vinh) of Pleasant Plains, Renee Johnston of Batesville; one brother, Eddie Little (Sharon) of Blytheville; two grandchildren, Ty Edward Van Nguyen, and Elly May Ann Nguyen, and one nephew, Kris Beasley.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mark Johnston, and two sisters, Diane Little, and Marsha Beasley.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 26, 2024, at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home just before the service.
