LISTEN: National Wild Turkey Foundation banquet coming March 9

The local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Foundation (NWTF) will hold its annual banquet on Saturday, March 9, at the Batesville Community Center, 1420 S. 20th St. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Dinner is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The banquet, which will also include a silent auction, a raffle, and more, is a fundraiser for the NWTF, which supports the conservation of wild turkeys and the preservation of hunting heritage. The local NWTF chapter supports area charities such as Christmas Brings Hope, school food banks, as well as  the Arkansas Children’s Hospital and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

The foundation’s Keith Harmon dropped by Arkansas 103.3 KWOZ’s Greenway Equipment studios to visit with White River Now’s Chad Whiteaker about the big event.
