Betty Jean (Brown) Lawrence, 86, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Betty was born on January 3, 1938, in Mountain View, Arkansas to the late Robert Lee and Edna Opal (Burns) Brown.

Betty was a faithful member at Cornerstone House of Prayer. She spent many years as a logger and enjoyed digging ginseng, hunting for mushrooms, fishing and spending time in her flower garden. Betty will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Betty is survived by her children, Sammy, Debbie, Danny and Jerry; one sister, Ray Dean Lewis; grandchildren, Vickie Stair, Bobby Lawrence, Patricia Holland, Robin Garrison, Joshua Lawrence, Vana Lawrence, Kendle Lawrence, Tish Parker, Allen Jayne, Ronnie Jayne, Austin Lawrence and Destiny Lawrence; 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of many extended family and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Edna Opal (Burns) Brown; husband, Norris Cecil ”Buddy” Lawrence; infant son, James Lawrence; son, Jimmy Lawrence; brothers, Bill, Jim and Beuford Brown and one sister Paulean Divine.

Visitation is TBD. Funeral services are TBD with Brother Daniel Stephens officiating. Betty will be laid to rest at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas following the service.

Pallbearers are Allen Jayne, Ronnie Jayne, Bobby Lawrence, Zack Lawrence, Timothy Stair and Seth Williams.

Honorary pallbearers are Vickie Stair, Patricia Holland, Robin Garrison, Joshua Lawrence, Vana Lawrence, Kendle Lawrence, Tish, Austin Lawrence and Destiny Lawrence.
