George David Webber, 69, of Newport passed from this life on March 14, 2024. He was born in Galion, Ohio on April 6, 1954, to Earl Leo and Ruby Juanita (Osborne) Webber.
In his leisure hours, he cherished moments with his cherished cousins, known affectionately as The Webber Gang. Fishing, cooking, and mastering the art of barbecuing brought him immense joy, reflecting his love for outdoor activities and culinary pursuits. A fervent enthusiast of rock ‘n’ roll music, he found solace and excitement in its rhythms and melodies. Remembered fondly for his passion for family, food, and music, he leaves behind cherished memories that will forever echo his zest for life and the bonds he shared with loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Roger Webber, and his sister, Vicki (Webber) Schwartz.
He is survived by his daughters, Cassandra Webber Lockwood of Cabot and Georgianna Webber of Cabot; his sister, Gail Clady (Dan) of New Washington, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
