
Elizabeth Gail Thomas, age 69, of Pleasant Plains, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 26, 2024.
Born October 10, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, Gail was the daughter of the late Donald Carter, Sr. and the late Betty Edwards Garrison. Gail enjoyed board games with family, sitting outside on warm summer days, fishing, and planting flowers. She was an avid pool player and a loving soul who made friends with ease.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Cook (Lisa Slisher) and Jay Cook; daughter, Anita Cook; granddaughters, Kimberly Cook, Kelsey Cook, and Lacey Slisher; grandsons, Kenneth Cook, II, and Logan Slisher; sisters, Mary Jane Sullivan, Trish Day (Charlie), and Margie Ing; nephews, John Sullivan (Veronica), Donald Sullivan (Lisa Leftwich), and Frank Sullivan, Jr., nieces, Nicole Woods and Robin Kiser.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Donald Carter, Jr., and sister, Virgina Carter.
Pallbearers are Donald Sullivan, Frank Sullivan, John Sullivan, Casey Page, Shane Fortenberry, Scottie Johnston, and Ronnie Ruminer.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2024, at Willis Funeral Service. Services will begin at 3:00 pm immediately following the visitation with Donnie Roberson officiating.
