Larry Leo Barnett Sr. 74 of Tuckerman, Arkansas previously of Batesville Arkansas, went to be with his heavenly Father on April 13, 2024. Larry was born on February 18, 1950, to Elijah and Carrie Barnett.
Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years Bonnie Barnett, his son Leo and wife Lesa of Cherokee Village. His daughter Carrie Barnett Williams of Batesville. His son Lonnie Barnett of Jonesboro. Stepchildren Michael Roberson and wife Dawn of Hot Springs, Darryl Roberson and fiancé Mary of Batesville. Rebecca Davis of Fayetteville Ar, Misty and husband James Isom of Searcy. Brothers Leonard, Jerry, and William. Sisters Wilma Goforth, Rosie Brown, Willene McMinn, and Joyce Huff. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. And Sport his 3-year-old Cockapoo whom he adored.
He is preceded in death by both parents Elijah and Carrie Barnett, an infant son Brenton, a brother Olen, and sisters Doris Huff and Mary Carnett.
Larry and Bonnie were united in marriage on August 6, 1983. Larry was a skilled carpenter by trade. He loved horses, bulls, and oxen. He was an avid storyteller and loved to make everyone laugh. Even after several years battling major illnesses he never lost his sense of humor or faith in God.
He will be missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City, Arkansas with John High and Dwayne Goforth officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 16, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
