Patricia Ann Royal, 80, of Cave City passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, in Melbourne. She was born July 8, 1943, in Love, Arkansas to Kenneth and Wanda (Sharp) Johns. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Main St. Church of Christ in Evening Shade. Patricia loved to paint, sew, cook and do woodworking.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Dale Royal; one brother, Dennis Johns and one sister-in-law, Pam Johns.
Survivors include two daughters, Ginger Clark (Lonnie) of Mt. View and Angela Sutherland (Brien) of Concord; two brothers, Dale Johns of Evening Shade and Van Johns (Nancy) of Cave City; two sisters, Gail McCall (Jerry) of Cave City and Nelleta Crumley (Danny) of Cave City; a daughter in law, Charolette Royal of Evening Shade; nine grandchildren, Jessica Royal, Jamie Hill, Joseph Royal, Alan Swan, Sydney Bristow, Candance Branscum, Preston Clark, Josey Sutherland and Katie Sutherland; eleven great-grandchildren, Brayden, Brennan, Kenzie, Kolter, Kasen, Sophie, Bennett, Spencer, Jovie, Ellie and Lennon; also a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Clint McBryde officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery near Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 1 p.m. until service time in the chapel.
Pallbearers will be Michael Crumley, Alan Swan, Joseph Royal, Ryan Hill, Jerry Dale McCall and Randall McCall.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kevin Johns, Brayden Clark and Preston Clark.
