Alice Faye (Heisler) Wilson, 71, of Grubbs passed from this life on April 21, 2024. She was born on June 29, 1952, to Riley and Thelma (Morrow) Heisler.
Alice’s vibrant spirit touched many lives. Her dedication to home health exemplified her caring nature, while her love for singing and membership in the Christian Motorcyclist Association reflected her adventurous side. Cooking, sewing, and reading brought her joy, alongside the tranquility of fishing and riding around in the country. Alice’s presence enriched the lives of her beloved family and friends, leaving behind cherished memories of her warmth, creativity, and zest for life. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her boundless love and the joy she brought to those around her.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Danny Wilson; her sister, Betty Miller; her brothers, Billy Roberts, Lewis Roberts, J.D. Roberts, and Roy Heisler.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce Wilson (Jessica) of Grubbs, and Jonathan Wilson (Madelaine) of Jonesboro; her daughter, Tonja Wilson-Matthews (Rusty) of Southside; her brother, Dick Heisler (Phyllis) of Cord; her sisters, Annie Barnes of Kansas City, Agnes Jones (Noyal) of Grubbs, Winnie Hulen of Batesville; her grandchildren, Danny Wilson, Kimberly Clem, Katherine Golden, Laura Jiles, Derek Cagle, Kendall Wilson, Michael Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Misty George, Haley Hutchens, and Amanda Kourakis; and a very special friend, David James of Newport.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Danny Wilson, Derek Cagle, Nick Wilson, Michael Wilson, Albert Jones and James Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Caithon Combs and Maximus Combs.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andy Haskins officiating. The interment will be at Watson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
