
Alan Lee Callahan, 64, of Marshall, Arkansas, was born on July 22nd, 1960, in Eureka, Missouri. He passed away from this life on April 21st, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Alan was the son of Willie and Kathleen Callahan, who had already passed away. He held a special place in his heart for his parents and often spoke fondly of the love and guidance they provided throughout his life. Their memories will forever be treasured by Alan and those who loved him.
Alan pursued his passions with enthusiasm. He had a keen eye for photography and captured countless beautiful moments through his lens. He also enjoyed spending time in nature, hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden.
Alan is survived by his son, Jared Callahan (Kimberly), and daughter, Shanna Owens (Chris). He was a proud grandfather to Rylee and Landon Callahan, who brought him immeasurable joy with another on the way, Christian Owens. He cherished the time spent with his loved ones including Scotty Branscum, Archie Callahan, Clint Harness, James Ruth, and many more relatives and close friends.
We will always remember Alan for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and warm smile. His legacy of love, compassion, and unforgettable memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at the Sunnyland Cemetery, beginning at 3:00 pm. Brother Donnie Chisum will officiate the service. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First National Bank of Izard County, for the Sunnyland Cemetery Fund.
