Maggie Nadine Lee Fletcher Beare, 90, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away on April 27th, 2024, peacefully, at the Blossoms Nursing Home. She was born September 14th, 1933, in Onia, Arkansas, to Albert Roscoe and Malissie Jane (Balentine) Lee.
Nadine was a loving mother, wife, grandma, and friend to all. She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. She loved being a Christian and loved Jesus with all her heart. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She lived life to the fullest and worked hard. She caught chickens, worked at a nursing home, and was head cook at Timbo school. Nadine devoted her all to her family. She was known for her love for cooking by everyone who graced her doorstep. She was famous for her chocolate gravy, home-cooked meals, and no-bake cookies. Nadine leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Nadine was preceded in death by two husbands, George Otis (Toad) Fletcher and Stanley Beare; one son, Ricky Fletcher; one grandson, Kenny Fletcher; parents, Roscoe and Malissie Lee. Nadine was also preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters of the Lee family.
Left to cherish her memory are her eight children, Mike (Jerri) Fletcher of Beebe, Arkansas, Otis Fletcher of Damascus, Arkansas, Randy (Darlene) Fletcher of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Jeff (Carol) Fletcher of Conway, Arkansas, Eric (Tess) Fletcher of Conway, Arkansas, Patty (Dwayne) Steele of Fairland, Oklahoma, and Lisa (Ronnie) Friddle of Alco, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, Vicki Fletcher of Perryville, Arkansas. Nadine was blessed to be called grandma by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Brother Gary Don Fletcher will officiate the service. Interment will take place at Pordue Cemetery, in Onia, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Jason Bell, Kavin Davis, Jeff Nading, David Fletcher, Brandon Harlan, and Ricky Stewart.
Honorary Pallbearers are Matthew Fletcher, Junior Barham, and Mackel Manning.
