An Independence County man died Wednesday morning following a motorcycle accident, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Dennis Tarpley Jr., 49, of Oil Trough, was identified as the victim. State Police reported that Tarpley was traveling north on Meadow Lake Road when his Harley Davidson left the roadway and flipped twice before coming to a rest a few feet off the road.
Tarpley was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene by the Independence County Coroner. The incident occurred around 4 a.m., as stated in the fatality report.
