An early morning one-vehicle accident on Saturday resulted in the death of a Cave City man.
According to the Arkansas State Police, 66-year-old Joe Guthrie was killed when his 2021 Ford Escape crashed into a sign.
The state police reported that Guthrie’s vehicle was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 167 near Christopher Street around 3 a.m. when it veered off the roadway to the left and collided with the sign.
The report indicated that the road was dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the accident.
