Paul Wayne Massey, age 79, of Cave City, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, in Batesville, Arkansas.
He was born March 18, 1945, in Stella, Arkansas, to Dolphus and Leannie Massey. He retired from Lanier Hatchery, where he worked as the Plant Manager for many years. Paul enjoyed trading and fixing up lawnmowers and dozers, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: his wife, Betty Massey; two sisters, Lucille Lawrence, and Glenna Dale; and four brothers, Laverne Massey, Reginald Massey, James Massey, and Bobby Massey.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Massey (Jennifer) of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas and Tojo Massey (Christi) of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas; two step sons, Greg Foreman (Becky) of Ash Flat, Arkansas and Todd Foreman (Tammy) of Cave City, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren/step grandchildren, Chase Massey (Leah) of Cave City, Arkansas, Cameron Massey of Nashville, Tennessee, Easton Rich (Ryan) of Southside, Arkansas, Keeley Jo Massey of Melbourne, Arkansas, Bennett Blankenship and Carlie Blankenship of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas, Justus Cooper and Kennedy Cooper of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas, Alysha Bradley (Matt) of Cave City, Arkansas, Seth Foreman (Tosha) of Cave City, Arkansas, Kali Dunegan (Jace) of Batesville, Arkansas, Kassie Meharg (Taylor) of Batesville, Arkansas and Payton Oliver of Ash Flat, Arkansas; nine great grandchildren, Parker, Landri, Tripp, Lawsyn, Brady, Jaxon, Kaden, Kam and Kori; his very special friend, Twillia Franks Hollowell; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Maxville Cemetery in Cave City, Arkansas, with Danny Brightwell officiating.
Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers will be Chase Massey, Cameron Massey, Ryan Rich, Bennett Blankenship, Seth Foreman, Bill Sipe, Matt Bradley, Allen Breckenridge and Scott Breckenridge.
