Tommy Rudolph Thompson, 79, of Mountain View, Arkansas, gained his heavenly wings on Thursday, May 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on July 21, 1944, in Macks, Arkansas, to Rudolph and Lois Thompson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Loretta (Smith) Thompson of Mountain View, Arkansas; daughter, Cynthia Palmer of Washington; sons, Tommy Alan Thompson of Cabot, Arkansas, Troy (Jenny) Thompson of Judsonia, Arkansas; two granddaughters; grandsons, Travis (Erica) Thompson of Conway, Arkansas and Tyler Thompson of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother; three sisters; one bonus brother, JR Smith and four bonus sisters, Chriskne Gebo of Washington, Debbie Taylor of California, Janet Crain of Louisiana and Linda Terry of Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Lois and two brothers, Travis and Gilbert Thompson.
Tommy loved working on old Ford cars, but more than that, he loved spending time with his two grandsons, Travis and Tyler, playing poker, fishing, shooting pellet guns, listening to music and old family stories and being a grandpa to their close friends.
Tom appreciated and loved his dear neighbors, Carl and Joy Gingerich and their children.
A family burial will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia, Arkansas, with Bro. Carl Gingerich officiating.
