Ruby Jean (Holt) Robinson of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born February 12, 1942, in Beedeville, Arkansas, the daughter of Albert Lemox and Vivian Alene (Pickett) Holt.
Ms. Robinson attended Newport School through the 9th grade. She had worked in a golf bag factory. Ms. Robinson enjoyed reading, watching old westerns, and going to yard sales with her sisters. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family, they meant everything to her. She attended the Jacksonport Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Dawson and Donald Clay Dawson; one brother, Albert Junior Holt; one sister, Thelma Lou Decker; and her parents.
Ms. Robinson is survived by four brothers, Jimmy Dale Holt of Newport, Tommy Dean Holt of Grubbs, Charles Eugene Holt of Longview, Texas, and Ricky Glenn Holt of Missouri; four sisters, Betty Jean Head of Missouri, Mary Lou Burris of Newport, Bonnie Sue Caldwell of Newport, Linda Sue Eubanks of Texas, and Joann Mankey of Missouri; many nieces and nephews and a lifetime of friends.
