The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Vital Link’s new ambulance base in Southside.

Coinciding with EMS Week, Vital Link celebrated the launch of the Southside Ambulance Base.

Vital Link CEO Kathy Lanier expressed her gratitude to the dedicated team.

“Your commitment to excellence and unwavering dedication to serving our community are the driving forces behind our success,” Lanier told the Vital Link team. “This new facility is a testament to your hard work and the outstanding service you provide each day. Our mission at Vital Link has always been to deliver exceptional emergency medical services and ensure the safety and well-being of those we serve. With the opening of this new base, we take another crucial step forward in fulfilling that mission.”

Lanier also thanked the many partners who played a vital role in bringing this project to fruition.

“I want to reiterate how proud I am of what we have accomplished together. This achievement is a reflection of our collective efforts and shared vision for a safer and healthier community.”

Vital Link provides high-quality emergency medical services, treating clients with dignity and ensuring excellent care. Their mission includes offering safe and efficient out-of-hospital transport, interagency medical transportation, and related community services for residents in their service area. The Southside base will enable Vital Link to respond more quickly and efficiently to the residents of southern Independence County.

The Vital Link Southside Ambulance Base is located on the Southside School District campus at 45 Hardin Lane.
