Patricia ‶Pat″ Louise (King) Bland, 75, of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Saturday, June 15, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Patricia was born February 9, 1949, in Selmer, Tennessee the daughter of William Franklin and Hazel Carolyn (McLelland) King.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Patricia married Johnny Robert Bland on July 27, 1968, and they enjoyed thirty-seven years of marriage before his passing. Patricia was also preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Patricia Bland Greene and one sister, Annie Bobbie Dill.

Patricia worked for The Bank of Harrisburg for over 40 years. She also worked for First National Bank and Unico Bank. She enjoyed operating Antiques and More for several years. In her later years, she was employed by Jordan’s Kwik Stop Inc. She is a member of Drover Cowboy Church. She enjoyed driving around town, her Friday morning Breakfast Girls, her Saturday night Dinner ladies, making flower arrangements, and spending time with her family and friends. Patricia was elected City Council Member for many years and was a member of Garden Club and Harrisburg Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by her grandson, Robert Brett Greene (Abby) of Stuttgart, her granddaughter, Zoe Bland Greene of Harrisburg, two sisters: Dottie Rorex of Fayetteville and Cindy Garcia (Joe) of Harrisburg, and four great-grandchildren: Kye Greene, Payton Greene, Layton Faulkner and Copelynn Faulkner.

Visitation will be at Jackson’s Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from noon until Service Time. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel. These men will serve as Active Pallbearers: Bryan Rorex, Joey Dill, Kevin Loughary, Nathan Tucker, Shawn Faulkner, Nolan Dill, Perry Long and Joey Long. Honorary Pallbearers are: Steve Rorex, Roger McClain, Bobby Faulkner, Scott Cole, Pat Turnage, Ronnie Wright, Kenny West, Joe Long, Butch Roberts, Coy Sutton, Chris Crews, Jackie McClure, and Ryan Mooney.

The interment will be in Bolivar Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
