An Independence County man died after a motorcycle accident in Southside on Wednesday morning.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Jacob Lee Moody, 35, of Southside, was driving a 2023 Harley-Davidson south on Highway 167 near the Southside Citizens Bank branch when a northbound 2005 Chrysler van turned left into Moody’s path. The report stated that Moody’s motorcycle collided with the van’s right side.
The weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident, which occurred at 11:24 a.m.
