He was born October 31, 1945, in Batesville to Everett and Francis (Stewart) Dale.

In adulthood, Danny was an avid golfer and spent many days on the golf course with his friends. When he wasn’t chasing grands and great-grands, he could be found at golf tournaments with his son or traveling with his daughter. His wife of almost 60 years was always by his side regardless of where he was found. He retired from LaCroix Optical after 46 years. A hard worker and a follower of Christ, Danny was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Survivors include his wife whom he married July 10, 1964, Linda (Moser) Dale; one son, Kevin Dale (Tina) of Batesville; one daughter, Tammy Poole (Ken) of Batesville; two brothers, Teo Dale of Melbourne, and Darrell Dale (Teresa) of Cushman; two sisters, Norma Jean Cox (Jerry) of Cash, and Wilma Russell (Freddy) of Batesville; three granddaughters, Whitley Martin (Chris), Taylor Mead (Braden), Lexie Dale, and two great-grandchildren, Bristyn Martin, and Pierson Martin.
